Facility Rental

The Wilson River
Suspension Bridge

A variety of meeting spaces are available for rent at the Tillamook Forest Center and the nearby Smith Homestead Day Use Area. Some of the spaces associated with the building are only available after hours and require us to have staff in the building. Have a look at our facilities and then drop us an e-mail note or phone us at 503-815-6800 regarding your request.

The classrooms at the Tillamook Forest Center are dividable into two separate meeting spaces or can function as one large room. The full space will comfortably hold about 70 people. The room features a working fireplace, deck overlooking the Wilson River, sinks, a projection screen, and direct access to the trail system just outside the door.

The Tillamook Burn Theater is the place where we show and tell the story of fire. Its burned snags, burned trestle and smoke banners are fixed in place. But with seating for about 60 people, it makes for an ideal small lecture and programming space.

The Learning Shelter at
the Smith Homestead

The Wilson River Suspension Bridge itself makes for a dramatic venue for events. Consider the bridge for a wedding, special dinner or birthday party.

The Forest Learning Shelter at the Smith Homestead is an excellent spot for workshops, family gatherings, meetings and other events. Well water is available adjacent to the building (no sink). A large fireplace adds warmth. Electrical power is available. Tables and benches comfortably accommodate 75 people. This space rents for $100 per day with a $100 deposit required.
