Learn about the edible wild plants found in the Tillamook State Forest!


Spring is when wildflowers bloom and wild greens are ripe for picking. See plants like wild violet, Solomon’s seal, fairy bells, licorice fern, sorrel, various fiddleheads, wild ginger and more. Join educator and author John Kallas to learn the many ways they can be used as food.


Copies of Wild Edible Plants by John Kallas will be available for sale.


Registration is required by Wednesday, April 22nd. Please call 503-815-6807 to submit payment for registration. Note: The TFC is closed on Monday and Tuesday and therefore won’t be able to take payment on these days.
