The Tillamook Forest Center is just a scenic drive away from nearby cities, located about one hour's drive away from Portland, and just 20 minutes from Tillamook.
Cell service is limited in the area, so it's best to plan ahead! Please note that Apple Maps, Google Maps, and GPS are often inaccurate, and may lead drivers through forest roads.
Take the Wave
If you are traveling from Tillamook, consider taking Tillamook County’s public transit service, called The Wave. You can also ride The Wave from the Portland area, and it's a great affordable option. Be sure to check scheduling, as the hours for the Wave and the Center may differ.
